From Pregnancy to Teenager

July 15th, 2010

From the moment that you start looking for signs of ovulation, the both of you are embarking on a journey that will change your lives for at least eighteen years and usually for the rest of your lives. Becoming parents is probably the most difficult thing that the two of you will ever encounter and it can cause a lot of stress and tension in the relationship. So here are a few things to do in order to keep the relationship fresh and not let your kids drive you up a wall. If you are the type of people that have to do everything themselves, then you have to learn early on that raising children is definitely something that you are going to have to have help on.

After you realize this, the job definitely gets a lot easier. Everything from baby advise to the sex talk and the stay away from drugs talk will come a lot easier when you get advise from people that have gone through it already multiple times. Getting advise on everything from what to feed your baby to what to do when your son first gets a serious girlfriend can be the difference between a good parent and someone who fails to gain their child?s trust. Read the right books and talk to those who are more experienced than you are and you will be fine as a parent.

In order to ease the pressure between the two of you so you can stand the sight and voices of each other, you are going to have to spend some alone time together other than the time at night when the two of you are both so exhausted that you can?t have a decent conversation, not to mention anything intimate. In order to actually find some balance in your relationship, you should try to get out of the house at least once a week to ensure that you two are still sane. Getting help with the baby or the kids can be the one thing that can save a marriage or a relationship.

The hardest thing to do in this world is to be a parent and it can be very overwhelming at time if you do not ask for the appropriate help. From ovulation all the way to when they are eighteen years old, you need to find time for yourself and your partner or else it you might not make it.
