Selling a car is a real headache for most people. Tyre kickers, advertising costs, day trippers, test-pilots, dealers and dreamers are all issues for anyone selling a car.
Let’s assume you are buying another car - new or slightly used.? If it’s a private sale then the seller is not likely to want to take your old car in part-exchange.? If you are buying from a dealer a part-ex may appeal, but it can leave you out of pocket.
A private sale is usually a testing and time consuming experience.? Firstly you have to advertise the car - maybe in Autotrader, on Ebay, in another online directory, or maybe advertise it in your local paper.? Secondly you have to photograph the car, and make sure it’s attractive in the pictures.? Usually that means when it’s not raining (or snowing!) - and when it’s light. Finding an hour to take pics of the car in Britain isn’t always as easy as it sounds……
You have to wash it first.? Take your car to the nearest car wash and give it a through cleaning, both interior and exterior. Remove every thing from the boot, back seats, and floor.
Don’t spend money fixing the car if it has any mechanical and electrical faults, unless it’s very minor like replacing the fuse or a bulb. If it has any more major faults you need to be honest to the buyer if they come to view.
You have to pay to advertise.? Advertising doesn’t come with money-back guarantees, but you’ve paid the money, uploaded the pictures and you’re sat waiting by the phone.?? Sadly the most frequent callers for advertised cars are other advertisers trying to get you to advertise with them instead.? When you do get an interested caller you have to make sure it’s clean (again), and arrange a time for them to view the car. ? Maybe they will turn up, maybe they won’t.
The next problem - do you really want strangers coming to your home? ? It’s OK for bright, young confident men to show their car to prospective buyers, but what if you are a single lady, or perhaps not confident with strangers?
And what are you going to do if the potential purchaser wants a test drive?? What about the insurance?? What if they want the car inspected and you have to take more time off work?? If the sale does go through, how are they going to pay for the car?? Is the cash real money or have they printed it at home?? Will the Banker’s Draft turn out to be a forgery?
So what about a part-ex with the dealership? Unless you really know the market you’ll be like Geoff Boycott on Day 5 of a test match - always on the back foot.? It’s the dealer’s job to beat you down on price.
Most car dealerships specialise.? They are called dealer franchises.? Let’s say you have got a Focus and want a Mondeo.? The Ford dealer might give you a decent part-ex offer because they know what your Focus is worth.? They might even resell it on their forecourt.? If you’ve got a Ford though and want an Audi or a Fiat you won’t get the best price for your Ford because the dealer will have to resell it within the trade.? Why is that a problem?? It’s a problem because the Audi dealer doesn’t really know what your Focus is worth, so they will build in a margin for error.? That means they will offer you less than it’s worth just in case they make a mistake.
Even if your dealer is a main franchised dealer and you are buying the same make again, you get either a good part-ex price or a discount off the price of your new car - not both.
And what if you aren’t changing your car?? What if you are emigrating, going travelling for a year or getting a company car?? Then you are back to a private sale….and we know the problems that involves!
There is now another option.??That Car Buyer offer a quick, no fuss alternative.
Our aim is to make the selling process simple and free, all you need to do is go to?That Car Buyer and enter the registration number and current mileage of your car along with some basic information and you get an instant no obligation offer for your vehicle.
This solves the problems of selling your car without trying to sell it yourself, and puts you in pole position with the dealer if you are buying a new car.? You can take the money and negotiate a discount off your new car, or if you don’t need another car just leave the money in the bank.
When you accept the website offer, we will arrange to pick up your car when it’s convenient, free of charge. We pay the money direct into your account before we take it away. Selling online with? That Car Buyer is really easy!

“Most expensive” is used to describe the most exclusive products in the world, including watches, boats, cars, personal jets, and anything else that would make pretty much everyone dream. I say pretty much everyone because there are people who can afford to buy luxury jets and boats, and cars that can do over two hundred miles per hour. These types of cars are what kids dreams are made of. I don’t think there is one man out there that has not contemplated at least once raising the money to buy one. Many of them even try to save lunch money as a way of pursuing their dream.
When we grow up we know though that the world’s most expensive products are reserved for the richest people in the world. This however does not stop us from dreaming to sometime own the most expensive car in the world. A correct distinction needs to be made between what the general public considers to be the list of the most expensive car, and what the reality actually is. Cars have an appeal to people which surpasses any desire to show off, or to try and make a buck in a few years after re selling the car. The world of private collectors is comprised by some of the richest individuals and royal figures from countries and cultures from all over the world. When thinking about private collectors people tend to automatically think of rare paintings by Picasso, Rembrandt and so on.
Cars, however, have also been at the center of focus for many rich collectors. You might think that the Bugati Veyron is the most expensive car in the world with a price tag that is close to 2 million dollars, or the Koenigsegg, even the newest addition to the supercar world which is the Lexus LFA. This is true, except only if you are referring to new cars that just rolled out of a factory. If we are talking about the all time most expensive cars in the world, the situation changes dramatically. If you think cars like the Ferrari Enzo, or the Bugati Veyron whose prices range between one and two million dollars, then what would you think if you knew there are cars whose prices ranges close to 30 million dollars. Like I said, these types of cars resemble paintings when it comes to considering the passion of collectors.
When you think about it, there are paintings that sell for prices in excess of 100 million dollars, so it is really no surprise whatsoever to find out that there is a person out there somewhere that has paid over 28 million dollars to receive a highly sought after Ferrari 250 GTO. The price comes in part from its exclusivity, because there are presently not more than 39 cars of this type in existence. The price is also given by the huge impact this car had on car lover since it was first introduced decade ago, it being voted the most beautiful car in the world repeatedly, so it is really no surprise that it is know the most expensive car in the world.

The air conditioning unit of a car is one of its most sophisticated parts. But most of the car owners, especially those who don’t have particular interest in mechanical engineering, don’t know much about the car’s air conditioning system. This makes it difficult for them to take care of the unit. Thus, they are left with no choice but to call a mechanic and pay hefty amount for his service.
But people don’t know that they can recharge their car AC compressor on their own. All they need is the right guidance to do it and the necessary equipment. Components like the right kind of refrigerant are very important. If you want to personally recharge your car AC then make sure that you only use the suitably pressurized refrigerant. You can refer to your car’s user manual to know which kind of refrigerant is most suitable for it. Never, ever mix different kinds of refrigerants because it won’t recharge the AC compressor effectively. Make sure that you don’t use any of flammable refrigerants as they are extremely dangerous.
Once you have gathered all the equipment and the refrigerant, you can start the process of recharging the AC. But before that, cover your eyes with protective goggles and wear thick gloves on your hands. Make sure that you wear full sleeves and most of your body is covered. This is because car refrigerant may cause burns in case of some kind of mishap.
You can purchase a recharge kit from any local car AC parts shop or your mechanic. Make sure that the kit has a pressure gauge which helps in the recharging and helps you keep track of the quantity of refrigerant inside the AC system.
First of all, you should find out the level of refrigerant in your system. For this fit the charging pipe in low pressure on the port. If there is no refrigerant in the system, then make sure that you get rid of all the moisture. The absence of any refrigerant is a sign that there are some leaks in your system. To detect the point of leakage, spray soapy water is the fittings.
After this, check the A/C compressor and clean any debris, dirt or dust in the condensing coil. Then, connect the refrigerant can, recharge valve and hose together. Turn the valve to puncture valves. This will ensure that there is no moisture inside the system. Then, start the engine and turn the AC. Open the valve so that the refrigerant can reach the hose.
Don’t remove the can’s cover and then close the valve and disconnect the hose. If you have done this right and the refrigerant is enough for your system, then your car AC will give great performance.
Now that you know how to recharge you car’s air conditioner, stop spending money on expensive mechanics and do it yourself.

When it comes to choosing a car rental company, there are several important factors to consider. You want to know that the car you rent will get you where you are going without any major problems occurring, and that the company who rents you the car is reputable and reliable. The key is to make an informed choice, and to do that, you will need information. Below are tips that will help get you started, and bring you that much closer to making your decision.
The first thing you will need to know is the terms and conditions for renting a car in your area, or in the location where the car will be driven. This applies to both renting a car and renting a car service. The two most important are that the driver must be a certain age, and must carry a legal driver’s license. Others will be specified by different areas. In some cases, a credit check may be implemented.
Most Car Rental Costa Rica companies will not accept a cash deposit for renting a vehicle. This is because cars hire and rental companies need a guarantee of payment for the services they will render, so you will be required to use a credit card in order to make your deposit. As stated above, a credit check may be run before the transaction is even put through, and you may be rejected if that check shows you to have bad credit.
Know the size vehicle you will need. This will most likely depend on the number of people traveling with you, and where you are going. If you will be driving on rough terrain, you will want a vehicle equipped to handle it. If you are driving around a city, a smaller car might work for you.
Know how much you are willing to spend on rental fees. The cost can sometimes vary greatly from one company to another, so it really pays to check around before actually making a decision.
If more than one company offers you the same or a similar price, compare the services each offers. Also check the types of cars each company has available. The last thing you want is to get stranded in a car that was doomed from the beginning. Most Costa Rica Car Rental companies perform a regular check of their vehicles, so this may not be an issue. Know the terms of each company, and be sure they are clearly understood. This will help you through the process from beginning to end.

When you next go on vacation the best way to explore a new country is by car. Renting a car allows you to sightsee at your own pace to tourist spots of your own choice. You can easily rent cars from Costa Rica Car Rental services, but there are certain things you should keep in mind when you are renting a car abroad.
It is a good idea to make all arrangements from the USA itself before you embark on your vacation. If you rent directly in a foreign land the language and cultural barriers, the foreign currency conversion rates, unfamiliar rental rules and other differences may utterly confuse you. Instead if you rent right from your home country, you are more likely to catch the hidden costs such as late penalties, gas charges and others.
Make sure your billing starts right from the time of the drop-off. Remember, there are agencies that charge on a full 24-hour basis, even if you use the car for lesser hours per day.
There are various types of discounts that are available on car rentals internationally. For example, the frequent flyer discount, credit card discount, AAA discounts or senior citizen discounts etc. are the most common type of car rental discounts.
When you are booking in advance, consider the prospective size of your luggage and the number of people traveling with you. In case the luggage and the size of your group are small you can consider a smaller car. But if you feel you are going to travel with a big group or have big or quite a few luggage, then book a roomier car.
You should carry an international driving permit with you. It is recognized by some 150 countries. However you must be at least 18 years old to obtain an international driving permit.
Do not expect to rent a luxurious or automatic car in other countries as you would expect to rent back home. For example, if you rent Car Rental Costa Rica, there is a high possibly that you have to drive a manual stick shift car. However, since you are not familiar with your way around in a foreign city it is better that you insist on renting an automatic car even though it comes at a higher price tag.So you see, driving in the foreign land is much more than laughing about driving on the wrong side of the road! Be prepared and carry the right documents for safe and happy driving abroad.

The Toyota van has been distributed across the world in many different versions. North America got its first glimpse of the Toyota van in 1984 around the same time that Dodge introduced its Dodge Caravan. Back then it was referred to as the “Van” and looked much like the hippy-mobile that was around in the 1960s.
In North American the Van was often referred to as “the mystery machine van” In North America it was sold as a rear wheel drive but later a version was offered that was a four wheel drive. This Toyota van could easily be identified by the sloping front end that contrasted the box style of many of the other auto makers vans. Many people referred to it as a cargo van because of the size and the layout of the engine that was located in the front of the van. Originally it has a short turning radius and offered a fairly bumpy ride. Later versions offered more comfort and a more streamlined look.
Toyota is known worldwide for their quality. Toyota automobiles will usually more than double the life of an American made vehicle. Once the van idea started to catch on, Toyota began making models that were more glamorous with such features as air conditioning, captains chairs, power locks, power windows, sunroofs, and great stereo systems. Many of the more family oriented Toyota vans even offer refrigerators with ice makers that come in handy on a long trip.
If you think that you would like to own a Toyota van but you don’t have any way to finance it you might want to look at guaranteed van finance. They offer financing to those who have less than perfect credit. It is very simple to apply for guaranteed van finance. All you have to do is make a phone call or go online and fill out an application. It only takes about 30 minutes to get approved and they will gladly go over all of the terms with you. This is a great tool for those who need a van but can’t get local financing.

AUTO LOCKSMITH FUNCTION’S
Auto locksmiths are the experts who have the specialized computer software and advanced tools needed to take care of all your auto lock problems. Licensed auto locksmiths are the most reliable and offer the following 3 services for your assistance:
1. Replacing stolen keys - Locksmiths are equipped to replace stolen vehicle keys without the need to change the vehicle’s lock. If your car keys get stolen the locksmith erases your stolen keys from ECU, the locks are then re-coded with new combinations and replaced keys are provided to you. This reduces the risk of your vehicle being stolen, no matter who has your old keys!
2. Replacing lost keys - Locksmiths have blank keys that are easily cut by an advanced key cutting machine. This task can be carried out even when you are at the roadside. Computer software is then employed to make sure that the newly manufactured key perfectly fits the vehicle lock. Once the key is re-manufactured, it is coded with the ignition lock or vehicle door. Don’t forget, if your car has an immobilizer system only a programmed key will open your car. The newly manufactured key is then reprogrammed according to the ECU of your vehicle.
